Paseo de la Reforma is the financial corridor of Mexico City. The city government has aimed to increase the densification of the city, taking advantage of all the spaces that are under-utilized. This has been an attempt to stop the growth of the city towards the suburbs to utilize existing infrastructure instead of developing new. As a result, in the past decade, major office buildings have been developed in Reforma, converting the strip in one of the most important financial districts of Latin America. Reforma 342 is a forty-two level tower. This mixed used development lies in front of the "Angel de la Independencia" a major city landmark. The tower is structured by its central core which includes all vertical circulations. The office space is formed by stacked volumes adjacent to the core. This stacking forms multiple open spaces that serve as terraces and sky gardens at different levels.
